Hello, world

This is the first post on the WingPrint blog.

I'm going to use this space to write about a few things that overlap in weird ways:

  • Walking as a daily habit. How much of your city do you actually know on foot? Almost certainly less than you think. This is one of the more surprising things I've learned since I started tracking my walks.
  • Privacy in consumer apps. Why "sign up with your email" became the default, and why I don't think it needs to be.
  • Building software as one person. WingPrint is made by one indie developer (me). No team, no VC, no growth hacking playbook. I'll write about what that's actually like — the honest version, not the LinkedIn version.

The frequency will be low. Maybe a post every 1-2 weeks. Quality over volume.

If you want to follow along:

More soon.
